Bella Shmurda, a Nigerian street singer, has come through with the visuals for ‘World’, his new and reflective song.

The music video, which was released on Monday, comes a few weeks after the singer had put out the audio.

The video, shot by Aje Filmworks, is relayed from the perspective of two boys observing the cognitive dissonance of the adults milling around them.

The visuals open with a plus-sized woman peddling sachets of “slimming tea” to a gaggle of ladies who are slimmer than her. It is followed by the shots of a masquerade getting mugged by a sanctimonious mob.

It also includes a clip of a pastor garishly dressed in bling while surrounded by five bodyguards.

This sequence cues into lyrics: “Men marry men, women marry women/Nobody fear God, only scared of death/Pastor using black power/Father making love to his daughter/See people going to the church of Satan/Rich man worshipping Lucifer.”
