“It’s Okay To Step Away If Your Family Is Toxic” — Laura Ikeji

by Adeoya Femi

Popular Media personality and socialite, Laura Ikeji, has weighed in on the issue of ”Family Loyalty”, a topic that was birthed due to the controversy surrounding Prince Harry cutting ties with the Royal family because of their treatment of his wife, Meghan.

According to Laura, family is everything but if things are different, it is okay to step away.

Her post reads ;

Family is everything, but if yours is different, it’s ok to step away.

I pray my siblings and I don’t get to a point where we never speak to one another.

God forbid.

Before now I’d always say stick to your family, family is everything bla bla, but now I know better, if your family is toxic, it’s ok to step away. Some of us re lucky. I pray my kids stick together forever too.
