Wizkid Hints At Fifth Album — Months After ‘Made In Lagos’

by Adeoya Femi

Ayodeji Balogun, award-winning Afropop singer better known as Wizkid, has hinted at the production of his fifth album.

The music star took to his Instagram stories today to share portraits of his four previous albums and a blank one with a question mark — which is an ostensible way of keeping fans guessing about the forthcoming project.

The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner dropped ‘Superstar’, his debut studio album, in 2011 and thereafter released ‘Ayo’, and ‘Sounds from the Other Side.’

In October last year, the singer came through with ‘Made in Lagos‘, his fourth album, after teasing the project for about two years.

Wizkid started recording music at the age of 11 and released a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed.

He signed a deal with Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) in 2009 and rose to prominence after ‘Holla at Your Boy’, the lead single.
